Jay's Songwriting Page

I began writing songs at the age of 13, some 34 years ago. By then I was already performing with other musicians around my age.The first song I ever wrote and actually put together with a band was titled "Love Hog". A basic three chord rock song. I grew up listening and playing every type of music imaginable, from Country, Big Band, Blues, R&B, and of course Rock and Roll. A lot of these styles are previlant are distinguishable in all the songs I write. My copywritten catalog contains well over 100 songs. I have included some of my work for your listening pleasure, and welcome any comments or suggestions via email. I have been fortunate to co-write songs with many different people over the years, and I welcome lyrics or music from anyone who cares to submit them. Although I can't promise a creation, I certainly will take the time to read your lyrics or listen to your song. All of these songs were recorded in my modest little studio,where I did most of the instruments and vocals myself. Hope you enjoy them !
