Thank you Friends & Fans
It's been a long ride for the Curtis Brothers Band. Bobby Lee, Jay, and Jim Jarris started CBB in January of 1991. Here we are 19 years later, and with a fair amount of changes and some reuniting we have come to the end of the road. Many reasons prompted this grueling decision. Mainly change, both with the members of the band, and the declining places in which country music is offered in our area. Though we have been known to be quite versatile, it has been hard for us to maintain a solid fan base compared to a lot of the competition we were up against, and we were stigmatized as a "country" band for so long a lot of the rock clubs were hesitant in booking us. So we decided to make a fresh start. Nothing is solid yet, it may never be,
but assuming it is it will be something completely different with a new sound and name. We hope you continue to support us as we still are performing in different projects.
Bobby Lee is playing with Caliber, John and Jay are performing with the 50/20 band.
There may be some kind of music in the future from the Curtis Brothers, probably a CD of originals, and who knows maybe even an occasional reunion gig.
Thank you so much for all of the years we have shared together, and keep in touch with us as we trudge the road to happy destiny.
WE LOVE YOU ALL !

MUSICIANS
Quite a few musicians have been with the Curtis Brothers, either on a full time, or part time basis that we would like to recognize and thank them even if their tenure ended on a sour note. We appreciated your help and talents, and wish you nothing but the best in your musical adventures.
Forgive me if I forget some of you.
